I had an incredible day of detecting! Always follow your gut instinct. Had I not, I would of never have found what I did. My original plan was to go to a local school and just coin shoot. Half way there, I realized I forgot my digger. So back home I went. After throwing the digger in the car something inside of me was telling myself to hunt a local park. I been to this place a gazillion times. Why not once more? lol. This time I decided to hunt the woods near a little stream. Parked my car, headed to the stream, crossed over and started climbing up a hill in the woods when I received my first decent signal. It ID

Cool finds!

For me gut feelings usually only count on whether to dig an iffy target or not.

Some of my best finds have been complete total surprises.

By the way, forgetting your digging tool is nothing,
my first and only detecting session so far this year, i forgot to take my detector. :yikes:

Awesome recoveries.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate your kind comments. Hombre, thanks for the info on the fob. I was so tired yesterday I ended up calling it a token lol. Ironsight, my gut feelings are always where to hunt. Intuition if you will. I always let my "inner self" guide me out in the field. Hard to explain but when I start hearing these inner thoughts, (not that I am hearing voices) just an inner nudge of guiding me in a different direction. It is that same inner nudge that says something is bad, and then I high-tail it out of there. For example, where the homeless people were up on the hill, I felt that inner nudge telling me to stay away. Once I walked out of the area, I felt fine.
