Go west for the yen? - exploring another beach :)

A short hunt with the Ace 150 early this evening - Tuesday. Had a look at a beach about 10 minutes by car to the east of us. On another artificial island. First time to hunt there. It is mainly used by windsurfers.

Dug up a key marked "West" and that was the direction I was going! :)
Not so much trash, so it was nice to pop out a few coins here and there - 621 yen (about US$5.50).
Happy to get the 1931 Japanese coin at the bottom of the pic too.

Also five fishing sinkers. Interesting to try a new place for a change. The sand is quite hard with a lot of small stones mixed in. As you can see in the pic (looking west) there is also some greenery growing too. Will spend a bit more time there in the future as it is a convenient place to stretch the legs and swing a coil. Also, directly across from that beach are a couple more which should have a longer history as they are on the mainland.

Ian @ the land of ninja and things.
