I seen that this is a newer model Go Pro Camera and probably geared to a first time user. Has anyone used these cameras?? I would be interested in the head gear to mount the camera, or maybe this is not wise. Give me a suggestion or two before I pull the trigger on one. I want to get one for my metal detecting hunts, so I can log in my days out, All suggestions welcome, Than You and have a great weekend..........Pete

I have never had one, but they did just introduce the Go Pro 4, so the Go Pro 3's should be going down in price over the next few months. I know that usually their lowest model is the White edition, with the silver and black being more expensive editions. As far as where to mount it, your head or chest should do fine for mding videos, or maybe even your coil shaft. Hope this helped.
Yes, You helped me out. I see there is a cheap model # I mentioned, they are selling for 129 shipped ( CHDHA 301). looks like they may be fun. I like messing with game cameras also. I am thinking to wait it out till the holidays start going crazy with sale prices. I may get one on line cheaper then that 129
