Sorry Garrett, I get frustrated sometimes you know, but I love my 2500!

Perhaps the effect of the recent release of the "ACE SERIES" detectors is still to come. A quick observation of the price and Bills test results should begin some interesting comments. We still have December. Patience is a virtue, but keep hunting with your Garrett. We need some more pics on this site.

All major companies are constantly trying prototypes to compete and lets say new detectors is good business..All comes down to our area and personal prefrences. Seems like they add a new feature which in turn robs you of a feature. Indeed let the feedback begin..Heck 10 and 15 years old units are still favorites of many and do the job...quite well...

Well I'm new to this "hobby" but it seems to me after looking long and hard, that Garrett offers more for the money than any other manufacturer does. Of course, that typically means more weight to swing too...or so it seems. Maybe it's me and my lack of experience with the "older" units or maybe it's my 25 + years in electronics that wants the bells and whistles ringing in my ears. Either way, I like Garretts stuff

I have been swinging detectors since the early 70's.Whites, Compass,Tesro, Fishers,Minelab. My Garrett 1250 has them all beat. love the belltones, push and go. with the 14"10 loop it loves dimes & Quarters. can do any better then a Garrett.

Me too.

Yeah I've used about everything that's ever been made and Garrett is still my favorite.
