GMT's still got it!

Found a specimen of quartz two days ago and got a nice bit of crystalline gold out of it using a PI machine. The remaining quartz gave no signal but I thought id hang on to it as sometimes there can be small bits undetectable still inside. Id smash it up and see later. I ran it over the GMT's coil and it gave a good positive no ifs or buts signal.
Broke it open an was pleasantly surprised. Makes you wonder how much gold is walked right over the top of at times with pulsies and how much gold bearing quartz is discarded as worthless?

Prizm not a peep, 4500 in sens extra gain flat stick, mono coil no sound, GMT good positive signal. Found....in the ground about 40 min drive from Dunolly. Original specie was 10" deep and someone else had heard it and scraped away about an inch of dirt and left it. I heard it and thought "why is this not dug out?"

Ive got to ask: Which one is going to do the better job, the GMT or the GMZ? Whats the difference?

GMT wins hands down. More sensitive, these species come in twice as hard on the GMT than the GMZ, that said the GMZ still got them. GMT is miles ahead in control and handles a very wide variety of ground types where as there are some areas the GMZ can run out of ground balance.
