Glue Coil Ear ?

I must say that for technology, Minelab seems to be tops. However, for structural flaws they also are "tops"...
Don't get me wrong, as all manufacturers have their quirks, but I've owned 2 of the Explorer XS'es, and the upper shaft latch cracked on both of them, and alot of others had the same problems(plastic). I have also noticed that the coil ears on some big coils are thin, and thus they break easy. On some smaller ones, they seem to be made better(thicker). But I'm not complaining and I really like my X-70!!
