Gloves

After MDing in wet weather, my hands become very dirty and the foam grip on my Elite 2200 gets dirty. I usually wash the handle to clean it. Do any of you ware gloves to protect your hands from broken glass, old hypodermic needles etc? How about gloves to keep hands clean?

Markl, do a search on this one, the last time it came up, about 30 people offered about 30 different suggestions. Personally I don't, just one more thing to try not to lose. Search all forums not just BH.

I do like to hunt without gloves so that I can feel tiny targets in the hole, but a recent can slaw cut reminded me why I should wear glove. I use streatchy Nylon Knit Gloves with a nitrile coating. The back of the hand breathes and the coating protects the palm and finger tips (keeps nails clean). They give good dexterity and feel on small objects. Not as much protection or durability as leather, but I find them to be a good compromise. Only a couple of bucks a pair at my local Harbour Freight Tools.

I rather use gloves, who knows what's under the surface and at the least prevents from getting a deep cut.

I prefer wearing gloves, I use the mechanics style gloves, they fit tight enough that you don't feel like they are going to fall off and they are breathable. Most home improvement stores carry them and they are cheeper than the mechanics gloves you find at the auto parts stores and they can also be washed. I have washed mine in the washing machine around 30 times and they are still in great condition.

I wear gloves quite a bit. I think others do to. More when the weather is worse.

I wear Timberland mechanics gloves...they are neoprene and rubber...fit tight and flexible...dry fast too if they get wet.
