Global Warming's only good side!

The only good thing about global warming is that it has really changed the weather patterns the last few years. It has allowed me to get out once or twice now in Dec. and Jan. these last few winters. This was the case this weekend and I took to a strip of land in the center of town. It is about 8 city blocks long with moderate foot traffic through it. I started on the end furthest from the center of town to avoid a lot of the trash, that I'll no doubt encounter toward the center of town. I worked only for an hour and a half covering only about 45 square yards(only a drop in the bucket)! I only hit the very best of signals to get a sampling of what might be there because the ground in some spots is still semi frozen. Needless to say that I will be working this area quite often once the turf is fully thawed!

You know that Global Warming is not really proven to be true 100% and there are two different camps or points of view on the subject, I think Al Gore invented it like he did the Internet  and the world has had natural climate changes or cycles for thousands of years. Other than that, great finds and it is nice when you get more time to hunt due to better weather conditions.

Take Care & HH :)

I can't be sure but is that a 1935 nickel you have there?
Too bad you didn't wash them up so we could see the dates better.
