GLASS TINT REMOVAL FROM MXT;

A

Hey fellow MXT users, I did a little follow-up on possibly removing the glass window tinting from the MXT LCD Display. I personally contacted the window tinting co., that I got the window tinting from. They stated to use some soapy water with a razor blade, but you'll have to be very careful, because of the plastic lcd display.
Also, I came up with another possibility. You could use some eyeglass/sunglass spray, to my knowledge, it is made up primarily of rubbing alcohol/water, or just plain rubbing alcohol. I'm
going to hold off on removing the window tinting, that I applied two weeks ago, until I absolutely have to remove it. Maybe, I'll get lucky, and won't have too. Hope this helps, lol,hh.

You can easily peel away the original plastic screen with or without the solar film with your fingernail and purchase a new one for $2.00 from Renton Coin Shop in WA or probably any White's dealer (last 2 times they just gave 'em to me. Nice people those White's dealers). It goes on like a decal. I'm on my 3rd one in a year as I've poked it with my lesche digger more often than I'd like to admit. I've stocked up on them.

Indeed. There are "2" screens. The real screen that is an LCD and a plastic protective cover that can be easily replaced. And I mean easy. Like I said, I've replaced mine 3 times.
