Glass blowing 101...............

Greg from Mi.

New member
Our son Joshua and I went to a house that the owners have a glass blowing shop. they have been doing it as the sole income for 25 years. interesting to see how its done and just how much time is put into each piece. They tod me they run the furnace 7 month making the pieces. Each month they use $1000 worth of propane!!
Just thought I'd show you some pictures we took

...that is neat!! Those are great pictures Greg. Where do they sell their glassware? Do they have a web site?

Thanks for sharing. My next door neighbor has a coffee shop on the University of TN campus and roasts his own coffee beans. He has a building in his back yard that he roasts the beans in. His roaster is over a hundred years old and has been converted to run on propane.
