GKMan: 4 / Farm Field: 0 - even though it tried hard running interference...

I went back to a site that I have previously struck out at several times, usually because the field wasn't cut low enough to detect properly. Today the grass was high as usual and so I was swinging through the grass pretty hard just to get the coil through it. Besides that, the farmer had an electric fence installed across a large portion of the farm and the EMI wreaks havoc on the detectors stability, causing it to emit random signals ranging from the sound of treasure to trash, so I had to double, triple check each signal to make sure it wasn't a phantom.
In the end I pulled an 1850 large cent and a couple of buttons and part of a buckle. As I was leaving I saw one heck of a buck.

Very nice Gary. Did you get it done before the rain?
