Here's one I've been considering in the price range I might be able to afford at this time. The Olympus 2500XL that Guv mentioned and the Olympus 2100 seem a little more than I would probably need...Not due to the features, but they seem a little big and bulky for taking in the field digging. This Nikon Coolpix885 seems to have quite a bit for the money. It is supposed to have a great macro which I would want and 3+ megapixel, 4X optical zoom, among other nice features....Was also looking at the Minolta DiMAGE S304, too!
