I found these at a site that has been flooded for over 30yrs, on the high ground in the middle there were lots of relics dug and this area saw lots of fighting! We found horse shoes about 42 bullets and lots of shell frags but here are some things we cant figure out what they are so take a shot at it.One is a 9" inch spike with a sqare head nail drove thru it? The other is a knife of some kind but next to a horse shoe it is the same curve and thickness and the shell frag is just for reference of size to the other objects any help would be great thanks

the piece with nail looks similar to a gate or door hinge , just driven into a post or beam . [ the long part ] .
the knife looks like a "hoof pick" for cleaning and trimming the horses frog , or perhaps it could have been a rope knife .

That top one looks like part of a cannon ball.
