I don't think it's just the fishing, but more being in the outdoors! That's when I feel the closest to my daddy, and you know, with few exceptions, I will hear the owl hoot. That's the sign my daddy is near, just as the rainbow is a sign from my mother! Plus, I just love the peace and quiet! No TV, no cell phones, no traffic, etc. I have to admit I like fishing the best, but I also love being in the woods in the fall and winter!

I keep looking forward to the time when I can do more of it. I bet going on a guided mountain ride with you and your friends would have been a awesome treat!:)
