..He sent me some Hawaiian shirts-some kinda loud;if ya know what I mean:blink:...A while ago;I asked him if he had been to the Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor...Ya know what he said??"WHATS THAT?"....whats that?....WHAT'S THAT??:rage:I felt like slapping him;if I coulda reached him thru the phone...doesnt know that is where a lot of America's finest were blind-sided by a small country with a big attitude...We owe our lives to all the servicemen-and women-that make it possible for us to sleep in peace at night...Yet:If I told him that;it would go right over his head...It makes me ashamed of him;let me tell ya...:(
 
we have had WW2, Korean War, Viet Nam, Gulf War, etc, etc. It may be a generational thing as far as Pearl Harbour goes and he may be more familiar with the more recent ones. It probably isn't that he doesn't respect the soldiers or what we owe them. With younger kids, he is probably much more knowledgeable about the more recent conflicts. Steve in so az
