to many folks hiding razors and straight-pins in candies and homemade goodies. Not a as many kids out doing the Trick-or-treat thing, and no homemade caramel apples or popcorn balls.

I have noticed a move towards "Trunk or treat", where a local church gets it's congregation together, park vehicles in the parkin lot, decorate everything, and kids move from vehicle to vehicle getting treats.

One thing that I do not miss, now that I'm back in OK, is the "devil's night" tradition of MI. The night before Halloween, pratical jokes are played on unsuspecting folks, only these "jokes" are really vandalism, and are costly to repair/replace.

Same here... Most of the kids are grown up now. Mine just wanted to stay home and give out the treats. We had about 10 kids by 7:30, then a group of 5 teenagers came by around 8:00 and that was it.

STROBE LIGHTS, THINGS MOVING, MANY MANY MASKS AND STUFFED BODIES. I DON'T THINK I HAD ANY KIDS LEAVE CRYING THIS YEAR:cry:- PROBABLY CAUSE THE WIFE WAS SUPERVISING. I HAD LOTS OF FUN !!!!!!!!!!

and by 7:45 I was out of 300 suckers...1 at a time. Our neighborhood gets alot of traffic every Halloween...have to admit...the kids were well behaved this year and they had some great costumes. Although I started laughing after 1 kid left..he was about 8 and I can only guess he was wearing one of dads T shirts. He was dressed as a skeleton...pretty cool mask...but the shirt was called "Bones", and if you didn't look close..it looks like a bunch of skeletons in different positions...but the positions were sexual in nature. His mom was walking with him...bet she had no clue.

the only ones that came to my house was from the parents that I knew, here are my little buddies! Future treasure hunters!
