Ghost Towns in Christian County Ky

i'm from owensboro so i don't know anything about that area but just do some research at the library

[size=large]according to the u.s. treasure atlas you have about 20 ghost towns around hopkinsville. i have found that these ghost towns are not always the old run-down ricky falling down buildings one thinks they are. that's progress. just a couple of samples of the list are : Larkin. about 7 miles nnw of hopkinsville. then there's Tulane on a rr line about 5 miles south of hopkinsville..there's another place called Longview 3 miles nne of St. Elmo. then there's Casky on a rr line about 5 miles s.e. of hopkinsville.looks to be around a hundred others with-in driving range for you between Bowling Green , Mayfield, and Herndon. some names that came up around Herdon are, Bennettstown on a rr line 3 miles s.w. of Herndon and Howel on a rr line 3 mile s.e. of Herndon . just name a few.

the towns are worth checking out but the list for my county Daviess were mostly still active. it looked like they took an old post office list and listed the ones not on the new list as ghost towns.
