[attachment 24117 Barclay.jpg]Had a club hunt at the ghost town of Barclay here in NE Iowa, the whole area is now a corn field - well, the C$ got er done with a couple of Barber Dimes and couple of bullets. HH - Hawkeye Jim.

Hey Slay - the one with the nick was down about 6 inches - the second one (1903-O) was down a good 7 to 9 inches (sort of tough to really tell when you're digging in a cornfield. HH - Hawkeye Jim

PS: where you at in Iowa???

Congratulations on those Barbers! It's been a while since I got a Barber. It's good that you are getting out. I've got too many irons in the fire right now! Nice finds Jim!

what you mean - those were my first silvers of the year - and that pesky thing called a "job" has really been cramping my hunting - got a real good site lined up to hunt (an old carnival site that's now a pasture) if I ever find time. HH - Hawkeye Jim.

romance on the brain again :inlove: Just make sure she like's detecting (or says things like "honey, why don't you take some time for yourself today"),is kind, pretty, and .... wealthy.... :)

Just make damn sure that she has the ability to be CONTENT! If she displays the typical tendancies of a Barbie Doll Hottie, she'll always be looking for some other pie in the sky. Your big brother has spoken. ;)

I have a feeling I wont' be detecting all day Sat. & all day Sunday like I did when I was a "free agent" :inlove:
I could always "recycle" old button finds like they do on other sites :poke:

I had a 10 yr younger, "high maintenence" gal who thought metal detecting was stupid & partying was more "cool" :buds:
I learned that lesson & won't make that mistake again :inlove:

You'll have to turn every rock over to see if it's not hiding a "target" (behavior). OR, of course you can just make like it's a toy drum and be content with just bangin' the buhgeebus out of it. ;) Actually, a combination of both ain't a bad approach.

ain't that the outfit Bill wears when he goes beach hunting and the young sweeties give him grief? :D
