Ghost Town Keepers

We have permission to hunt a couple of very off the grid ghost towns that are on private property. Both have connections to early Western railroad history. Last week, my wife dug the Oregon Short Line button and this week, I dug two very rare trade tokens. Love getting out into the remote areas where no one is hassling you. Thanks for looking!

You're right Ronstar, we are lucky to have permission. On one of the sites, it took a lot of research to figure who owned the land. It's posted no trespassing everywhere. When we located the owner and chatted with him about our interest in the area history, he told us he's run many MD'ers off his land over the years and we were the first to bother to ask for permission. Gave us the go ahead to come anytime as long as we text to let him know we're around. We've taken him some finds related to his family history and it's been cool to watch the emotion when he receives them.

Thank you Floodplaindetector, the tokens are my favorite targets. Been looking for this particular foundation for a few years now. Couldn't believe I found two.
