Ghost town foreign coin

I believe this is a foreign coin. This came out of a ghost town in Oregon that dates back to the late 1800's. The edges are reeded and both sides are the same. Flipping the coin left-to-right is the same image orientation. Of these 2 pictures, one side has been dirtied to try to get some clarity. It came out of the ground VERY crusty and thickly coated with very hard dirt and grass/hay. The size is about 30mm
Please help us identify what it is.

Thank you!!!

Oh, I believe the composition is nickel or so. It read in between nickel and zinc on my idx pro.

If you can see the letter M on the left side of the man's foot in the pictures, and read it upwards it says MAGIC. Possibly the other word that starts with an M on the right of the mans foot is Mystic. Or maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me. See what you think?

Its a Magicians' Token made in the United States by Mysto Magic Company started by A. C. Gilbert and John Petrie in 1909.

I bet it was part of a set so there may be more pieces to it in the area, Good luck finding them and congrats on your magic token!

Oh my gosh, thank you guys so much. That's some serious detective work. I couldn't make out Magic until 200nkb pointed it out and even then I was like, "I guess it could if it read from the bottom up which would be weird"

Good job!

I read somewhere that the word MAGIC is falling out of the devils wand that is standing on top of the world. So thats why it is spelled upwards, it is falling down with the first letter dropping first.

Very impressive Nathan, Aaron, awesome job IDing that one.
