Getting use to what the Vaquero is saying

It has taken me a while to try and learn what the Vaquero is telling me, plus the heat of late doesnt make it much fun. This morning was clear and cool so I went to a different park just so I could maybe learn some more. I set the disc one mark above tab and spent a short time hunting before having to leave. Also the places I have hunted have not produced much to help me out in learning the different tones, etc.
I know they are not old but the photo of what I dug has helped my confidence a tad.

Looks like your off to a good start! Congrats!

Dlh no worries. The old stuff will come. I hear you completely about the heat making it no fun . Found out why I had such a hard time with the heat during my after work hunt yesterday. Wife told me it was 107-108

Lakota..... This morning was nice and cool...60's. Where I hunted this morning was like baked clay. I could not imagine digging in that heat and humidity.... Luckily the targets were not deep....lol.

Yeah the football fields aren't getting watered like normal and the plugs are trying to fall apart in dried clumps lol.
On the weekdays I am up early getting me and the girls ready, so morning hunts are a no go less its the weekend. But the mornings have been nice. I found the cure for the heat and dry dirt though, bought me a Tesoro Stingray so off to the water I'll be going ;)
