Getting too hot to handle

It isn't too long ago that I was reading posts from guys in the USA that it was too hot to hunt....now in Aus. we're copping it...today's prediction is 42 deg.C (104 deg. F). I went out early and found 5 coins for $7, but went home when the sun had been up for about an hour. There are bushfires around New South Wales, many of them coming from lightning strikes (or so it is thought by the authorities).

About a week ago I was able to get away to the coast for about a week. Holidays haven't started here yet, so takings weren't great, but I was happy. Got 81 coins for just over $50, one .925 silver ring, one junk ring and a few pieces of junk jewellery. Both rings found in the water. Sweltering in the current heatwave really makes me miss the beach. Thanks for reading. HH

Going out in 104* isn't bad in a dry climate such as the desert Southwest. When the humidity is high and you could cut the air with a knife, then doing anything outdoors is uncomfortable. (except swimming)

I took a couple of friends with me on a 4 day hiking trip in the Grand Canyon last summer. 115 degrees on the Tonto trail. 120 degrees down by the river. That was one rough hiking trip. I'm wanting to do it again to see if it really was that hard  :stars:
Wife wont let me and my friends wont go back :goodnight:
