General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Sent Tom Miles a PO MO for a set of Ratphones with delivery confirmation. He received it last Saturday and doesn't return any messages.
His cell phone is now disconnected or changed number. He could have sent the Rats and just not bothered to return messages but I am putting this out there as a heads up in case anyone else has pending deals with him. His last activity was on Monday of this week so I know he read my messages.

I feel your pain! No return email is always a bad sign. I have been waiting for a coil I purchased on nov. 5th From a guy on another forum. He said he was shipping it out the same day. I get an email on the 10th that the coil was returned to him because he put the wrong zip code on the package. He said I will send it back out today via priority mail. I wated another 4 days and emailed him to verify if he ever sent it out (no reply). I waited another 4 days and still no reply. On the 20th I made a post that said Deal Gone Bad. Yesterday he posted on my post that he was out of town and he was sorry. He said I will ship it out first thing in the morning and send me a tracking #, Guess what, no email or tracking # today and he was on the forum many times.Today to top it all off he emailed one of the mods on the site and told him to take my post down that the problem was resolved (must be his buddy). I contacted the admin of the site and he told me that should have not happened and told me to repost and send him an email and he will make sure it will no be taken down again. I figure i'll give him another couple days and see what happens. If he does not respond I'll post his user name, real name and email address so nobody else gets scamed.

Well, It's been 9 days since Tom Miles in Findlay, Oh got my MO and not a peep from him.
I was contacted by another member that also sent him a MO and hasn't heard a word either.
Hopefully, he has sent our items out and they will show up. I'll give it a couple more days than my Uncle, who
is a Postal Inspector in Chicago will handle it. He says that it's felony wire and mail fraud that carries a mandatory
minimum sentence. I hope all turns out well and it doesn't make sense that someone using their real name and have posted
where they work(even though they no longer work there) would intentionally defraud people so I pray that this works out for everyone.
