Getting ready for the Storm coming in. Looks like

it will be on us sometime Friday and into the night. Here its usually a lot of tree damage with lost of power. Last one it was 9 days before we were back on the power lines. I had sold my welder generator so I went out today and got a generator for the RV and its also big enough to use in the house here. Wiring it in now for jump to the panel box. Putting away all the loose stuff that can blow around or thru a window off the porch and in the yard. All big windows in this place and 4 sliding glass doors. Make good targets for flying objects.... Got lock the horses in the barn tomorrow as it comes. Branches and tree's usually take out the mile of electric fencing we have up. don't need the horses running around loose.

Did get out on a great bike ride yesterday. Took quite a few pictures of a castle we went to, oldest Ferry boat crossing etc. Will post them soon as I get some free time..... Would love to get to the shoreline after the storm swings by. See what happens here first...
Well, lunch break is over, back to the projects left to be done. If nothing else I'll have more firewood to cut....

Have a great Labor Day if I don't get back in sooner.... We loose the phones lines on these big storms as a rule, so might be off line.
Hoping for the best, deal with the rest...

rain so far...Seems to be far enough offshore that we are getting very little of it. Took a NE turn just off of Cape Hatteras. Fine with me.
Got a lot of summer stuff put away early. Looks like by midnight it will be out of here completely....We get far more bad weather in
NE winter storms here... Made my day... Geo-CT
