YESTERDAY WHEN I GOT TO WORK, A LOCAL STORM THE NIGHT BEFORE KNOCKED OUT OUR POWER UNTIL 3:00pm, SO I WORKED ON MY EXCAL. PROJECT MOST OF THE DAY

MOST EVERYONE KNOWS WHEN I WORK IN THE WAVES DURING THE SUMMER TIME WITH MY EXCALIBUR, I USE A FIBERGLASS RAKE HANDLE FOR MY UPPER SHAFT.

WELL FOR THE 2007 SEASON I HAVE MODIFIED THE RAKE PART, I CUT OFF 13

Hi Max, You stated that you are getting ready for your NEW EXCAL to show up! Does that mean that you bought a Newer Model EXCAL, or you are changing the appearance of your Existing EXCAL? My new Excal arrived yesterday! I have the RTG Lightning Rod on it's way. I wish I had this setup when I was visiting Gulf Shores at the end of April. I couldn't really get into the water with my SE too far.

Hey Gravedigger,
Any news on the new Excal yet? I got mine a little over a week ago and it is my first Minelab. Getting to know her and so far really think it is going to be a good relationship. I also have a Whites DFX, Classic ID and Surf PI Pro, but I really like the Excal 1000 for some reason. I got the aluminum speed straight shaft and it really made a difference in the balance and the weight. Now just have to find my niche with the settings, listen and learn what she is telling me. I live in Navarre FL and will be beach and surf detecting mostly. I'll send a pic as soon as I get one taken and figure how to upload. HH
