I got the replacement armrest yesterday, NOW: I'm waiting for her to be returned from El Paso, Texas, after getting some much needed upgrades: Electrical internals, controls and switches, new hardwired headphones and searchcoil.....I wanted the 10-1/2" searchcoil instead of the 8" one, but they told me the 10-1/2" coil is "significantly" heavier than the 8 " one, so I just stuck with an 8 inch coil......I'm hoping to get her back a week from Friday....!!

Should have got the 10.5. It is heavier but I am disabled and I can still swing it. I have a CZ-21 with an 8 and one with the 10.5. I hip mount all my CZ's so they are pretty light.
I used to have the 1280x a good machine.
I only use the 8" when I am fighting weeds. The 10.5 hits the open sand and muck.
