Getting My Exercise Popping Coins Tonite + Scored A Ring :)

I lost 3 opportunities to hunt this week because of rain showers. In fact, it rained again up until supper tonite. When it stopped, I grabbed my 2500 and headed back to that high school to get some more loot before sunset. I was blessed with a silver ring and some more loot. Can't hit the woods right now because they are full of mosquitoes and homeless people. All the syringes lying around the trails from the druggies kinda give me the creeps.

Below is the ring I found. The stone was missing, so I just marked the hole black and put on 4 layers of nail polish to make it look a little more presentable.

Still pounding away great finds John. I use the Ace 250 do okay with it but man you rake it in. Happy HUnting and enjoy seeing your finds.

If I reach my goal of about 8,000 more coins, I will break the 100,000 coin mark this year. I have to go after more loot this year and cut back on the silver coin searches this year though. But, all this loot I am getting is also getting my ring count up too.

I am around 700 coins since I started so far and about 12 rings nothing like what you hitting John my next purchase is a digital cam so I can share my finds. only have about 7 silver coins my best find was 1944 walking liberty half dollar , also found three mercury dime and three roosevelt dimes. Also some mining tags but all I have been searching so far is mining town yards.

Nice finds John. I found one like that and then the stone fell out so I glued it in. It has the coating coming off. It's a cheapie, but....well you know the rest of the story
