Took the Tejon out today for the very first time ever. I think I am doing something wrong. I cant figure out this ground balance thing.

Think of the GB knob like it's a volume knob on the radio. If the sound raises as the coil nears the ground turn it back. If it goes silent as the coil nears the ground turn it up. If the sound raises slightly when the coil nears the ground you're in pretty good shape so go hunting.

The first time I ground balanced my new vaq, I had to go a long ways to the positive, I thought at first I was doing it wrong, but it finally came right in.
