Getting better all the time, but not for our trees...

Loggers went and destroyed a portion of a local park here last Saturday... They were supposed to clear out the thorn bushes and smaller shrubs from the creek bed... They cut down all the 40+ year old trees... None of them were rotten... They rolled over the creek with tractors and trucks... Frogs, toads, and other creatures were plowed over... Birds' nests were wiped out... Some remaining trees have broken branches sticking out in the open while there are dangerous twigs sticking out of the ground along the trails...
My finds are from an open field, just above the city.

Always sorry to hear of destruction.....try to make the best of it....there is not much you can do. HH. Matt

I've seen there mess before. They come in ( property owners permission), select the trees, cut them, and leave. Always looks like a tornado blasted through the area. Takes a while to grow back, but it does.

Today, I went back to the same field as yesterday, and found a 1 Heller 1911 bronze coin, Ein Kreuzer 1816 "S" copper coin, and a coin which I think is a Papal coin (Pope) from centuries ago.
