Getting back into the detecting hobby.

I have been out of the detecting hobby for a while now. Seems Minelab has quite a few more products on the market now. I used the Explorer S when I was detecting before. I enjoy coin and relic hunting. I have read many comments on the new detectors and understand you have to learn how to use these machines. Can someone recommend a Minelab product for coin(silver) and relic hunting. Thanks.

expect some biased opinions:clapping:

I'll start with my very biased opinion:bouncy:. I LOVE the Explorers and have used them ALL. There are a million reasons why...but trust me...they are killers on deep turf silver that other machines miss.

E-trac is a great machine too. I have one of those...and love it. My 100% go to machine though...is an Explorer SE...hands down.

XS...EX2...SE...they are ALL more than capable of doing the job.

Welcome back to the hobby. Have fun.
