The boss approved a new detector. Was looking at a tesoro tejon but the CTX has caught my eye big time! Is the CTX a huge upgrade? Looking for the best deal so the boss will ok this one too.

Well, I have seen that Tesoro in action...it's a pretty cool machine , especially at the Tesoro price point. The biggest complaint I found online just now is soil conditions....does not seem to like many soils, where some say it does not even ground balance.....In regards to soil conditions, the CTX is great in this aspect, especially the beach. Personal opinion, the CTX seems like a big upgrade in technology and obviously, the H U G E price difference.
But, I would have to agree with GKMan...the Tesoro users who own or familiar with the CTX to answer.....and X2 on the forum vendors for great service and pricing.
