.....I got my R-wader patched!!!-SO!!!-Im headin up NORTH day after Thanksgiving, for some:detecting:on the 1400'BEACH behind them pricey hotels -as is said,"The possibilities are ENDLESS"as to what I might find.As an added bonus;there is an inland lake up thataway wherein a man that owns a motel in Cheboygan lost his$1,000.00+wedding band a few years ago on Father's Day.I haven't been there to look for it-Friday the 26th be the day!!!Ive heard other folks mention the fact there were MORE rings lost in that same lake in the past.On this lake, there is a nice swimming area, and picnic area.AND!!!-Ive got my Thomas P.Terry book of lost towns and treasures in Michigan-Along with my trusty Gazetteer of Michigan;Im gonna spend some time Ghost-Town Hunting up in the U.P.;and Northern Lower Michigan!!!THE ONLY DOWNSIDE to this is detecting in water just a thin hair above the freezing mark-I probly wont go much over knee/mid upper leg area deep in the H2O.Even then,it doesnt take long;'till old Mr.Jack Frost starts nipping at a lot more than just your nose :(:nopity:......................

I've been itching to get back in the water too! :detecting:
