Gettin Jumpy. :yikes:

Boy , I tell ya,
I'm gettin a little jumpy.
Everybodys talkin about seein Bears down lower, Theyll be gettin in our trash and bird feeders soon.
So, yesterday afternoon, The girlfriend and I are way up a draw, at my prospect area.
She's sittin on a rock just enjoying the quiet, about 15 ft away from me.
Ive got this hole im workin ,down to bedrock, breakin the cracks open. and Ive been moving the rocks and logs off of it
CAREFULLY, so I can put them back, to RECLAIM the site,and so its not so obvious to others,that I'm workin there.
So, Ive got my head in this hole, goin to town breakin cracks open, and something keeps breaking branches up the draw.
Anyhow , Im fully concentrating on this deep crack, I feel like an OSTRICH, with my head in the ground.
When ,one of those logs I sat aside (uphill), rolls down on top of me,
I came up out of there ready to fight , let out some sort of yell, and was lookin to ?fight or flight , I dont know.
LOL,,
My Girlfriend is just sittin there , lookin at me , Then she busts out laughin.
Man,I gotta simmer down some !
I havent jumped like that in a loooong time.
Oh , ive been runnin the dirt here at home,, So far, not so good, but I have 1 more, 1/2 bucket to go.
Well, I hate to keep on the subject, but
WINTER is on its way ! We all better get out and dig while the diggins good.
