the Recycle Center in your town. They should have a bucket for batteries. Battery packs that were in portable drills, etc. might have one bad battery, the rest are still good. Jabbo
 
Warning! GoGoGopher on the Modifications Forum said some of these batteries are not standard sizes and might explode if not charged with a Smart Charger. Sorry, didn't know of any dangers.
