German cigarette tin box.

This isn't a detector find but, I was hoping. I think it is a German Kosmos Kommodore cigarette tin box. It was in my mother-in-laws belongings. Her brother was a German POW and was wondering if the box is from the same era. Any monetary value?
 
i did a google search after seeing your post in the forum at the top of the page. type in kosmos kommodore german cigarette box and you will see your box in the upper left hand corner. good luck.
 
I found these for 10, 25 and 50 quantities but the only date reference I can find says 'pre-1950' as a category it was listed in for sale. Since it is German it would help to search in German.....Zigaretten Kosmos Kommodore
