George Wallace visits Palm Beach County-hunts with Stacey & The Bulgarian! :twodetecting: :detecting::clap:

George Wallace, treasure hunting forum member from Colorado, wrote to me that he was coming to West Palm Beach and asked if we might hunt together. I was happy to meet with him and his wife Seta and show him a few local spots. Lucky George is staying through Sunday on Singer Island, where we met. I drove him to a local park/beach, where we met up with The Bulgarian on Monday.

Here's George and Seta on Singer Island:

And here's George and me:

None of us found anything at Singer Island, despite our best efforts. It was sanded in, so we moved on to the Juno Beach Pier, a spot that George had seen in prior forum posts. Here's The Bulgarian, George and Seta about to get onto Juno Beach:

It was very rough and there was a "pool" of water formed south of the pier, which I hunted, but to no avail....

There were some surfers out there. Guess they don't care about SHARKS, riptides, Portuguese Man 'O War or Sealice! (Anything to catch a wave - since Florida isn't known for its wave action!)

And try as I might, searching the sand and the little "pool" didn't produce for me. Two spots and a couple hours later I had only found one quarter and one penny! ARGH! :rage:  Okay, I did find a junk bracelet, but I eyeballed that, so I don't count it. The Bulgarian and George also pretty much got skunked, but not as bad as I did.

I hope George had better luck this week and that he and Seta are enjoying South Florida! I plan to take him to South Beach on Saturday because he wants to experience that. Maybe we will run into some of the other South Florida hunters down there? And on Sunday, The Bulgarian and Skip and I are planning a trip down there. So, wish us all luck! Thanks for looking!

HH! Stacey
