Hello Detectorists...

Searched "Wrong Geohunt Dates", "Wrong Dates", "1970" with no luck of any hits in the search box...

Anyone have trouble with their CTX not showing the correct date when recording GeoHunts? (Jan/Feb 1970s) Anyone have your correct UTC setting still put you an hour off?

I have my UTC at -5:00 (live in michigan) Can seem to see how to set the date accept to turn GPS Sync ON.

Just seeing if it just me...

Thanks...

Jason

Ok - Just searched google - Day Light Savings means UTC -4:00

My time is now correct - but how to set the date?

Two days ago I did two GeoHunts during an outing. One GeoHunt - the first one, recorded the date. The second GeoHunt of the day recorded a date in Jan 1, 1970? Don't remember switching anything more than between search modes???

What am I doing?

Ugh! Jason

May have figured it out...

Instead of just turning off your CTX at the end of your GeoHunt. Press and hold the GeoHunt button to bring up the window where you choose to STOP the recording and it will save the hunt. I think I was just turning off the machine without stopping the GeoHunt first.

That and don't turn off ctx until you hit STOP on the geohunt like you already figured out.
