It's storming in the security world this week, as one worm and one Trojan horse emerge to trouble I.T. administrators. The infamous Storm worm is busy posting dangerous links on forums around the Internet.
The new variant of the Storm worm has reared its ugly head, spamming bulletin boards with messages urging users to visit mailfreepostcards.com for a fun video. If users visit that site, they are prompted to download an executable file that propagates the worm.
"Message board spam is nothing new, but what is different about this message board spam is the spam text is actually integrated into legitimate messages posted by real users," Eric Chien, a senior software engineer at Symantec, wrote in his blog.
Hope nobody here gets this. Stay away from mailfreepostcards_com
