I can't help but notice there's a lot of buzz on the new E trac, is this detector much more then my proven Sov Elite.. thanks oj

You'll find that some say there is no depth advantage of it over a Sovereign, and at least some say the Sovereign gets deeper for them. That being said, it's a vast improvement over the Explorer in many respects including balance. It also is said to unmask coins in trash better than the Explorers. It's a great machine and the pinacle of computer display detectors, with every control you'd ever need to fine tune to specific areas, yet far less hassle than a Whites DFX or V3 to set up for a specific site. If I didn't get a GT I would have bought one, and I might still buy one down the road to add to my line up. Don't think I'll part with my GT even if I do though. I've got this thing so light that it's as user friendly as any of my Whites were, and it's performance is second to none when it comes to depth. There simply isn't anything better from any company than the Etrac, despite how many bells and whistles other machines might have.
