General PI controls V.S. those of the Infiinium L/S

Guys and Gals, I have read about various controls on other Pulse Induction machines like the SAT(self adjusting threshold), Threshold, Pulse Delay, and Gain.

How do these compare to the discrimation, and threshold, that the Infinium L/S has?

Thanks

Hi pedrod ~ i couldnt tell U but there are a few super well versed Inf. users here that could. I do know these couple things about API/LS , I believe it's the only machine to have the Disc serve in Frequency adjusting & Reverse discing the way it does. Also i cant see how I would not want to set my own threshold as well. I Super like the way the controls are simple Yet diverse in their own right . in fact , i believe the API aspect of the infinium is underrated in the PI world .Ken~Digs

The Infinium has a completely stable threshold once properly ground balanced, this is on very hot southern california beaches... the Sand Shark and Dual Field thresholds both spit and spudder constantly on my beaches, very unstable thresholds. Disc control is pulse delay. Gain seems to be fixed at a very high level, very sensitive and deep, some say that the gain is tied to the threshold, but I dunno, I always keep threshold at about 6.
