[attachment 264890 php7F5NM5AM.jpg][attachment 264891 phpaLgC53AM.jpg] found this pendent looking thing in a friends backyard....found a fair amount of late 1800s and early 1900s stuff in this yard.... i think i may be as old as the date on it,,but it could be some sort of newer commerative thing.... it is a little thinner than i would expect.... anybody got any info on this... thanks in advance....dave..

I don't know anything about the medallion...but did find some information on General Moses Cleveland...here is a link to the informaiton I found. Hope this helps.

Now that is really cool! Not an original description but certainly fitting. What else did you find in that yard?

Happy hunting!

didnt find any old coins in that yard except for wheaties, but did find a VETRANUM metal from like 1881 which i had to give up to the land owner..also found a large door key skeleton type...... found a huge circus ring that was some sort of souvenier ...its like 11/4 inches round and has something written on it about the largest man on earth..... found an old reign guide from a horse buggy... found a cool suspender clip with the flag on it...... so the finds went back to late 1800s to present day.... as far as the moses cleavland medal i cant find another one like it listed anywhere so i cant confirm exact age of it..... bootyhound
