I hunt a campus loaded with power lines and transmitters that have always wacked out any machine i use, well sometimes not so bad but other times Bad Bad. Anyways I bought a 4.5 x 7 excel II from JW last year was it? played with it a bit, ran out of hunt time and weather then to the to the coil bin with the rest it went.
Recently I rigged a hip mount kit for the MXT in Magiever fashion and stuck on the the nearest coil, 4.5 x 7 ser II it was, to take it for a test run. Not only was I pleased with my handle from the splicing tape but noticed that this coil was running at +3 glass smooth in relic mode. Don't remember that ever happening before in this area, maby it was off day for the power grid but it did the same thing in the other overloaded site.

I have no problem running the 8" execelerator at +3 in relic mode with the trigger in center position. Rob

I don't know about the series I or II but my coil is 1 year old and a DD. The 8" found the ring that got me the free 6x10 from Whites. According to JW the 8" is hotter than the 4.5x7. It really is a good coil. Rob
