GB'ing the TEJON for Beach Hunting?

Is anyone using the Tejon on the beach, and is GB'ing a problem.....what settings do you recommend?
thanx

Hi Donny,
Used one last year for salt and fresh. On salt if there is any dampness to speak of then you will need to crank it all the way to the negative. But there is still not enough range to counteract the wet stuff. Then disc will need to be run up to just below nick to get rid of chatter.
I highly recommend you read this post I made in Jan., it should help you a good bit.

I am in Florida now and just bought the Tejon to test here. I tried it 3 times and it is not good for wet sand. Very hard to pinpoint. In dry sand it picks up every teenie tiny bit of foil. Very sensitive to foil, which is good for small gold, but man did I dig a lot of foil. If I used this machine exclusively for the beach I would have the worlds largest foil ball by the end of the year.
