GB SE maiden voyage success

Took my GB SE for its first voyage to a site known to have given up some Viking and earlier finds.

Ended up with 3 first for me, possibly also 3 first for the Goldbug series.. I think.. GB worked like a charm in the heavy iron grunting its special language. Small nonferrous in between sounded off in a very recognicable way...:thumbup:

A Viking warrior amulette, Axe in lead that they had around their neck in a string. From around 800 AD..

A roman denar silvercoin.

A topp off a Cross fibula from around 500-700 AD..

Very nice. Gonna make a maiden voyage next year to the UK. Goldbug SE in tow.

I especially like the axe head amulet, finding items like that really makes one think about the person that lost it.
