GB SE And Lead..............

Well, we finally got much needed rain here in SWMO, so I got out for a few hours today to one of my spots. The 2 .69 cal 3 ringers were a welcome find along with the .36 cal tear drops. The .69 on the left was only 4" deep, but, had 4 nails laying with it. I think that is why I have walked over it before!!! The other .69 was 10" deep and the meter was in the 80's going 2 ways. That is the deepest I have found with it so far. Along with the tiny lead and small bits of brass, the GB is a killer detector for cleaning out spots that have been hit over and over..........:yikes:

It is a killer. Wish we had 3 ringers but they are few and far between...I find a few but not many. But those musketballs it sure loves them. ZFunny thing is that balls are harder for a detector to see...never knew why. You can find a .69 ringer deeper than a .69 Brown Bess. Someone told me it was because they were round...not sure how that would work but I know ringers of the same caliber can be detected deeper than kusketballs for some reason.
Nice finds.
Maybe one day they will makie a 10x12 SEF for the Teks that we can use......ohhh man.

I believe the same thing on round balls of any size, they sometimes make a low tone one way also. I have no doubt that the GB is just as deep as the F-75 or T-2, I just have to get some targets under the coil..........

and those teardrops are just plain beautiful dude....I love the teardrop's.......

Yes the GB loves deep lead!!!Hit's Minnie's with ease!!!

Nice find's

Glad the GB is working for you!!!

On Kellyco's website the only SEF coils for a Teknetics was the T2. Although maybe they did not list em yet?
