Gave the old Etrac a go again yesterday

Over the winter I did some drastic modifications to lighten up my eTrac as I saw the video ; eTrac, lighten it up.
My back and arm have improved lately also so I gave it a go and I was pain free all day and made some good deep finds.
Finds were from small town old schools and city parks.
The find of the day for me was that 1940s sterling silver personalized bracelet. It was about 9 inches deep. The ring is also silver.
The barber quarters are 1892 and 1909. The upper item is a small 5 cent merchant token.
The old buckle was very deep (about 14 inches).

I also just posted my finds from a few weekend hunts with The Minelab Equinox if you want to look at those also.
Thanks for looking!
Dave

You can bitch about this and that...it’s slow...it’s heavy...it’s expensive....the RESULTS are what matter. THOSE are some RESULTS!! Very nice hunting Dave, good to know the body is treating you better again!

Congrats on the Great Hunt of really nice finds! Ma Betty (CMD FORUM)

Dave what did you do to lighten the Etrac?
Did you do the chest mount?
I have and Explorer that i chest mounted and the weight is the same as the Deus with an 11" coil. I just can't seem to force myself to chop the Etrac

I saw that video before, I don't think I'll be drilling holes anytime soon, Thinking about making a custom shaft though, not a chest mount, and my battery source is already lighter than 8 AA's

where did you find that battery holder at and how do you charge it ?
check these links out, I plan on getting at least one more, I have 3.7v 18650 batteries in there, they actually charge a little more to 4.2v

OK...Thanks
I've used it for a couple weeks or more in my Safari, haven't kept track of actual hrs, and its still on Full charge
I made the mistake of buying flat top batteries and had to cut some of the insulation, buy the button tops 2600-3000 mah
Make sure you buy quality not the cheapest, anything rated higher are cheap low grade fakes
I'll send some links tomorrow of ones I know are good, I swear by EBL's and Samsung

After re-reading forum rules, if any of my links to "flea-bay or youtube videos" violate forum rules via non-sponsored links etc, please delete them, my apologies.

All that was posted was to help us all out with our detectors....I don't see why they should object to these posts....if so...delete my youtube posts also .... why should we keep our info to ourselves ?
