Bugar In. USA

Active member
Cuttin in to my detectin, had couple relic hunts all laid out, goin' to Tn, now with these huge prices, looks like i may be lucky to get one in:(

2.57 in Western Massachusetts today.

What I want to know is if the price crude oil is responsible for the huge price increase alone then something doesn't add up.

The price of crude is responsible for roughly one third the price of gas. If when oil was 30 bucks a barrel I was paying 1.05 a gallon at the pumps. Now oil is fluctuating at around 62-67 bucks a barrel yet I'm paying 2.57 at the pumps!! Now the oil compaines are claiming its strictly about the crude oil prices yet regardless what they pay for crude oil processing it should still be the same per gallon, right. Why are they reporting 4-5 times last years profits!!! The americam public is once again being scammed by the oil companies and our polititions are keeping qi
quiet about it!!!

I get the newspaper from Alturas, a little town about 70 miles east of me. Front page shows a Shell station over there with 2.99 for reg. and 3.19 for premeium. Local Chevron is $2.89 as of this morning. Looks like detecting is going to get closer to home.
