Gas prices bringout out the piggy banks?

Ken in SO AZ

It's amazing how much older the coins in my change have been recently than what I'm digging out of the ground. I've been getting wheaties, nickels from the '40s, and others from the '40s and '50s. Is it possible that robbed piggy banks are a result of higher gas prices? Hm-m-m...

Ya know-I used that kind of thinkin when I was kickin around buying another bike this year...Spend $8,000-12,000.00 to get something that gets 40-50 miles a gallon??:yikes:Kinda counter-productive...:wacko:So;I compromised...I bought a new Garrett GTP 1350 metal detector -and some x-tra goodies-for around 6 bills....LOTS less than a bike-AND,no monthly payments, insurance, upkeep;etc.,to get that 50 miles a gallon...Best part,I can use that new detector to find hopefully, more money...For gas!!!(And,who knows-maybe some glittery goodies,too!!)..

The pay check is no longer enough! Now we have to empty the long saved piggy! :(
