Garrett's new " Pro Pointer H2o "

OK , No , there is no such thing. But there should be ! I just sent Garrett an email explaining that EVERYONE wants a submersible/Diving pro pointer. If everyone who reads this takes five mins , and emails Garrett's hobby division , maybe they'll make us one sooner rather than later. I gave them some ideas : NOT PI ( it messes with our detectors ) , No tilt switch ( no one seems to like them ) , basically , just make the current pro pointer diver friendly. Waterproof to at least 100ft , add a wrist lanyard. Maybe color it bright yellow with black lettering ( would help to see it underwater ). Would be great for diving and on water sifters ! Shoot em a quick email at sales@garrett.com That's their hobby division email.
GL and HH !

I know where my coil is and I just wave my hand over the sand till the target apears. If its muck, I carry around a 8" mesh bag and put handfulls of muck in front of my coil till I get a beep. Then I put the handful in the bag, hold the top closed and swish it in the water till only the target is left. BUT each diver has his own method. Waders can't use them cause they would have to put on a mask and snorkel just to use it. So I don't want to burst your bubble BUT I see no use for one. Just my 2

I am using a water proof pinpointer from Treasure Products. In calm water, I have used it up to waist deep water and it has been very useful while trying to find the smaller targets close to the surface.

good idea i would like one too

a tailor made ziplock bag would be the cheaper option
