Let the Hype begin :chase:

Anyways, I think I want one.......
on second thought.............might find an AT Pro cheap.........

Must be the new improved version of the AT Pro with a new price tag of $1100. A Gti 2500 repackaged in a AT Pro like housing. Featuring all the Gti 2500 gizmos with multitones of the AT Pro as well as being a true multi use detector. Check this out:
VLF all metal non motion, Motion discriminate, and Pulse induction borrowed from the Infinium all rolled into one detector.
Multi frequency, 5.5 for relics, 15.5 for coin and silver hunting and 27.7 for prospecting. Waterproof headphones now included.
Hows that for starters.....LOL

I may take some heat for making my orig post. As it may sound like poking fun at Garrett.........
I have had many Garretts since the 1970's and they were my favorite.
The last Garretts I had were the Gti 1500 and 2500 and an older ADS7. Great machines all in all.
Hope the new Garrett is not another AT Pro headache, I may really be tempted to switch back.

Didn't see that it was already posted by another earlier in the day.
Sorry for duplicating....going back to my detector cave.........play with my treasures.......

Maybe they can get Ground Balance and Pinpointing right on this one. Weight and balance improvement would also help. You know their Demo machine worked perfect. I sure would like to have it.

I love the hype. I have been waiting for their new flagship for years.

Keep lt coming Vaughn!

I didn't see where it's supposed to be an upgrade of the AT PRO?
It just might be a totally different line of Detector's
I guess we'll just have to WAIT and SEE

I am hoping it will be a replacement to the 2500. The 2500 is what, 13 years old? I think it is time for them to make a new flagship detector to take the 2500's place. Last fall they released new beginner and intermediate models, so now shouldn't it be time to make a new higher end model??

Maybe it's a Multi Frequency
AT PRO
At a reasonable Price

Too good to be true... I'm looking for a GTI 2500 or an Infinium... If Garrett packs the two in one detector, I'll buy it immediately. But is this next detector also waterproof and using a "Treasure Hound" ?

If it finds gold that is great. But we all want the follow up to the 2500.

i find their displays too gimmicky ,lets face it none of them are that accurate

If it is truly for highly mineralized soils like it shows and says in the video....that would rule out VLF detectors in my opinion. That is highly mineralized iron bearing ground they show in the video which means its geared for prospecting and meters are worthless for prospecting.

So I'm hoping for a PI machine that bridges the gap between an Infinium and Minelab GPX for being able to disc out iron and not be hindered by mineralization. I can only wish...trust me, if they have done that they will fill a gap nobody else has came close to, if they price it right.

Yep. A unit that tunes out iron. and doesnt false on the salt beaches. Discriminates. pull tabs and still allows you to nail gold rings. awwww. that sounds sweeet. A wader style unit that is water proof to 25 feet or more.

Sounds like I am talking about the Mark 2. actually. lol:super:
